SCHOOL BUSINESS MANAGER

JOB TITLE:    School Business Manager

CONTRACT TYPE & SALARY DETAILS: Scale PO3 £42,840 - £46,041 (dependent on skills and experience)

Full-time / Permanent to start as soon as possible

We are seeking to appoint an energetic, enthusiastic and experienced School Business Manager who will be responsible for all financial and administrative systems within the school. This important role is both strategic and operational, providing advice and support for the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team and contributing to the continued development of Chapel End Infant School & Early Years Centre, a multicultural, three-form entry primary school situated in Walthamstow, Waltham Forest.

Responsibilities include the management of Finance, Human Resources, Administration, Facilities and Premises and administration related ICT.

We are looking for a candidate who:

 Has strategic leadership and management experience of areas including finance and personnel management, ideally in the education sector.

 Has effective communication, negotiating and influencing skills, including the ability to present written and verbal information to a variety of audiences, including       Governors.

 Is pro-active and innovative in their approach to school business development.

 Is an effective team member willing to undertake a range of reception duties, face to face enquiries and assist with pupil welfare as required.

 Is dedicated to developing positive relationships with all members of the school community

JOB TITLE:  Receptionist/Administrator

CONTRACT TYPE & SALARY DETAILS:  Temporary, Fixed Term - Maternity Cover, Full Time/Term Time - Scale 3 Point 5 - 6. £27,030 - £27,438 FTE

HOURS 8.30am until 4pm.

We are a welcoming and diverse school set in lovely grounds across two sites. During our recent Ofsted inspection (September 2022), it was noted that ‘warm relationships between staff and pupils are rooted in the school’s values. All are treated with kindness and respect.’
We are seeking to appoint an energetic, enthusiastic and motivated person to work at the EYC front desk.
